On Leave (28.11.06)

Gosh, at last a break for me. I'm on leave today. I'm under the weather. Down with flu and a battered ankle. I played street soccer with my friends last Sunday at Petir Rd's street soccer court. We managed to knock out several teams. We were up against this chinese team and that was when i got my ankle almost snapped into two. This chinese guy lost control of the ball and it rolled forward. I surged forward to get the ball and decided to flip the ball from the right to the left with my right leg. However, i guess it was too fast, i lost balance and landed badly on my right leg with my ankle almost 90 degrees flat on the ground. I swear i heard some bones cracking but i wasn't that sure. Until today, i still have problem walking but i feel no pain. Now that's weird. Usually, if i twisted my ankle or sprained it, the pain will be unbearable but this injury is something new to me. I don't feel the pain at all. Weird! Anyway, life's a hell. Every thing i do don't seem right. I wonder why. What ever it is, i must get my bike license before my 21st birthday, that is before 14/02/07. I don't care whether riding is dangerous or what because since young, i have always fancied bikes. For my first bike, i shall name her Christy Anastacia. Haha. I don't know why. Oh by the way, i will be going for my bike practical 2.02 later this afternoon at around 4pm. God, please let me pass all practicals the first time i take them. Please! Please?! Aight, shutting up now!

After 1.5 Years...(Married Vs Singles)

At last, i tasted my first rugby match after 1.5 years abscence. I was partially sleeping this afternoon when Aidil called me at around 2.45pm. He told me to come down for the police rugby match, Married versus Singles and told me that the match would start at 4pm. I was pondering. Could i make it for the whole match? Would i survive 80 minutes of Rugby? Haha. Guess what? I managed to hang on for an hour. Not bad for me knowing the fact that i have not been playing rugby for quite some time. The match started at around 5pm or so because of heavy down pour. Gerald and this chinese guy, sorry i do not remember his name, were there too. Hijazi put me as the second row forward and i have never played in that position before. Well, there are always new things to learn every day. Right? Haha. Actually i shouldn't be playing for either Married or Singles. I should be playing for Loners instead. Since they don't have Loners, i have to play for Singles. Haha. The Married got a try first throught a quick tap but the Singles fought back and managed to get a try of our own. However, the Married replied with another try and they got the lead. Soon, during the general play, the Married's backs tried to break through our defence but a stray pass saw the Singles executed a counter attack. Jamil, Nasir's smaller brother, managed to kick the ball twice whilst being tailed by Cik Azar. I ran along side Jamil hoping that he would pass me the ball once he has picked it up. My wait was futile as Jamil was deliberately brought down by Cik Azar. The foul against us by cik Azar was a professional one. He tackled Jamil without Jamil having the ball. Then our stand-off converted a kick. There's a term for this conversion kick but i can't remember it's name. If i'm not wrong, this type of conversion is worth 7 points. The Married battered our forward with rounds and rounds of forward crash. We managed to steal a ball and the forward pack secured it with a ruck. Mahadi passed the ball to me and i did a forward crash. I wanted to do the Mealamu's release of the ball but i landed on my stomach instead. I was winded and the ball slipped out of my hands. The Married got the ball and they managed to run to their try zone. Then one of our player committed a foul and there was a scrum 5m away from their try zone. The married took advantage of their experiences and managed to drive our scrum away and they too managed to get a try out of their drive. We lost but it was a good match. I played for an hour and didn't even feel tired. That's good. I miss Rugby so much man. Luckily i didn't receive any injuries today. Lucky me!
