Argentina Argentina Argentina

At last my computer is back to normal and my internet connection is up. My dad's friend actually came to our house to upgrade the stupid old computer. Look at it now. Haha. Pentium 4. Sony DVD Multi Recorder. New softwares. I'm glad. Now i can update my blog often. Hmm..so far, nothing much had happened. Today, few of my seniors finished their National Service. They were so happy to receive their pink identification cards. Hadiyanto and I did a short montage for our seniors and it was magnificient. I did the pictures and content while Hadi worked on the animation and music. It was an emotional moment. Haha. Edmund almost cried. The 3 ORD-ing guys gave some speech and so too did 2 of our Senior Officers. Many people praised Hadi and I for the montage. I can't wait for my ORD. Talking about ORD, i was flabbergasted last week upon receiving a message from PNSD. I asked them about my ORD and they replied telling me that my ORD will be on 6th of September 2007. I was damn excited. Technically, my ORD is on 12th of December 2007 but because i've served NS before, they have decided to cut down on my serving days. This means i have 2 months extra before university starts, if it ever starts because i still have yet to receive the appeal results from both NUS and NTU. I was infact rejected by NUS and NTU. Sucks! My first choice course for NUS was Business Management with Accountancy and for NTU, it was Accountancy. I didn't apply for SMU and i regret it. I guess my result wasn't good enough. Where can I i go to with CCC B4? I've appealed and i will leave the rest to God. If i'm not granted a place in either NTU or NUS, I'll apply for them again next year and i shall not forget to apply for SMU as well. I really want the business management or accountancy course. Lets' not talk about university. DSP Chua and I visited a store house at Toa Payoh and the name of the store house is StorHub. The place is damn cool. A factory full of store places waiting to be rented out. Prices of storage area differ according to sizes. Creative is the word. I was scolded by 'Bulb', one of my senior officer. I specifically told him that Assistant Director will be treating us to lunch at either the cafeteria at NPPK or a restaurant in Kandahar Street. I too told him that the venue for the lunch couldn't be confirmed yet because it depended on Edmund. If Edmund comes late, then we will have to settle for the Cafeteria and if he is early, to the Kandahar Street we shall proceed to. Unfortunately, Edmund was late but the stupid 'Bulb' have already left the office for Kandahar Street without informing any of us. When we settled down to tuck in, we realised that Bulb was missing. We called him and he told us that he was at Lavendar on his way to Kandahar Street. Muahaha. We were laughing like seniles. I don't mind being reprimanded in exchange for a good evil laugh. Now that's a paradox. Bulb is full of crap. He's a fat lump of shit. Haha. Later after lunch, he came to me to scold me. He said i didn't tell him about anything. Balls to you Sir! Yesterday, my JJC Malaygangstars had a chalet at Downtown East. It was superb. We came at 2pm and played FIFA Soccer game at X-box. After that, we went to the beach to play the real soccer. We played the Joga Bonito. All sorts of skillful tricks could be seen in that game. I realised that some of us, especially Khamsya, are really skillful. After that, we went to have a bathe in the salty sea. I miss the sea man. Having to taste the saltiness of the sea reminded me of those days during NCC. Win Bin will be organising a two man kayaking escapade. I will be looking forward to that. I miss kayaking. Sigh. It reminds me of someone. I wonder how she is now? After bathing in the sea, we went back to our chalet to have our so-called dinner. We had barbequed food for dinner. We played Tai Ti and smoked all night long. Hanan brought some of his former Bukit Panjang Government High school mates. They are nice people. Couple of us, including me, left the chalet at 10.30pm. I reached home just in time to watch the england versus equador match. England didn't deserve a spot in the quarter final. I hope Argentina will win the world cup. World Cup fever has caught me. I will go to work in a zombie like manner almost every day. My eyes will be red and droopy. I was under the weather last week after being bugged by flu. Sigh! Ok, it's time for me to end it here. I need to sleep. Damn tired. See ya all soon. Like how an Argentinian will say, Adios Astalahuego Holms!
