Team JJC Crushed SAOBA

To sum up my holidays, i would like to say that my holiday seemed like any other normal school days. I have to study in the holidays for my mid-year examination which was held in the last week of June holiday. Gosh. Now it is over, it is time for me to enjoy for a while before mugging at full blast when school reopens. Say La Vie! Haha. Anyway, we have this invitational match at the Police Academy against Saint Andrew Old Boys Association (SAOBA) yesterday and we beat them. Haha. It may be true that they are some old players for SAOBA but that is not a good reason to say that we won because we were facing old bats. There was more young players than old players for SAOBA. The score line was 14-12. What did i play as? Haha. Inside centre. Anand played as fly-half and it was fun playing along side him. During the 3rd 20min period, i was replaced by Neo because i was fucking tired and Neo wanted to play too. After 10mins, Anand wanted to to be replaced because he too was damn tired and there was nobody to replace him other than me. Yesh, my first time being a fly-half. It was fun! Now i knew how frustrating it is being a fly-half. It is really difficult to kick the ball out to touch especially when you are really tired. Well, this is an experience for me that i will never forget. I managed to lift-tackle this old man of SAOBA who was playing in the inside centre at that moment. He was running with the ball after his fly-half passed it to him. He didn't want to offload early and he paid a hefty price for that. He got tackled by me. He ran with the ball and i followed his direction head on. Then, aggresively, i went to him, squared and checked him first and then used my right shoulder to iniate the tackle before hugging him with my hands. After hugging, i jerked upwards and the old man was in the air and finally i spine bustered him to the ground. The feeling was great and the old man was surprised. I swear he looked at me with his face full of shock and him out of breath. After that,Zaid and me went to the store room to smoke and when we got out, we went to the sitting area to watch Police against SCC. Suddenly, one of the coach of the Police team, Cik Man 'Pantat', called me to get ready to replace any of the injured or tired police players. I didn't want to play at first but i was forced to play. Sigh! I replaced one of the guy and was put in the flanker position. It was fun. I remembered getting involved in most of the rucks and i managed to earn a penalty for the police team for ripping the ball from the opposition team when one of their man was tackled to the ground. He was holding on to the ball and there wasn't any support coming in early for him and so i grappled with him for the ball. The referee blew the whistle for an infringement because the guy was holding on to the ball on the ground and not releasing it. Haha. I got injured too. My right shin got a bum after i crashed one of the SCC player. Sigh. That was that. Anyway, i hope i can study hard and smart next semester and until A level. No more playing for me until A level is over. I need to get to SMU or NTU business school. I will work hard for it, God willing! Well, that's about it for my holiday. Sayonara!

I Fight Tomorrow

Haha. This is it. Tomorrow is the mid year examination and i'm pretty sure it will go well. Well, i hope it will go well. I'm aiming C for Maths C, D for Econs and C for Physics. Hmmm...i'm not expecting much because i've got little time to prepare for it. 1 month i guess. I was damn sick last week and can't even get myself to study or even practise maths. Sigh! Hmm..but i'll put a tough fight. I will not surrender. I'll inform you about the outcome of the mid year in my next entry. Other than that, i've got nothing else to say. Good luck to all my friends taking this dreaded mid year exam. Adios!

Ahmad Fathi - Crouch & Engage

It's hard to be us
Why don't you people ask?
We've taken all the beating
All that we could think
Quit playing the spherical ball
Be tough and stand tall
Take all the pain
We aren't insane
Shoulder, leg, ankle and balls
We've hurt them all
100% violent and rough
Being us is really tough
Go low and then deck
We'll cover each other's back
We are a fraternity
This passion till eternity
We have taken our toll
We shall suffer till we're old
Let this be, let this be
For the love of RUGBY.

The Quest

Gosh...It has been a while since i last wrote an entry. How's every thing? Haha. Every thing is fine and i'll be seating for my mid-year soon. Am i prepared? Partially but should be able to finish revision after which it will be a full blast mugging session for me for 4 months. This is it. Either i make it or break it. 4 more months to go. Gosh, time flies pretty fast. Hmm...nothing spectacular happened in school so far. It's a mundane life in school. The same old shit. It feels like dejavu going to school every day. Luckily for me there are friends and academic stuff that pre-occupy me so that life in school wouldnt be that boring. Haha. What about rugby then? Hmm...pretty sucky season. I'm still down with my left shoulder injury. The physiotherapist told me that i'm having a muscle tare but i doubt so because it feels like my shoulder is out of its socket. Well, i didnt play much this year because of injuries. Hamstring and shoulder injury. Out of six hours of playing time, i only played one and the half hour. I didnt contribute much. I've disappointed coach. I hope my rugby career will be bright. That's that. Hmm...i've been hit by a fever today right after a soccer session with my friends at the basket ball court. I scored twice. Haha. It was interesting knowing the fact it has been a while since i last kick the spherical ball. I miss it so much. Khamsya, Sadiq, Hanan, Nicholas, Mia and me wen to the national stadium the other day to watch the Causeway Challenge between Singapore and Malaysia soccer team. It was interesting. Singapore beat Malaysia 2nd string team by two goals to none. I think Singapore is heading towards the right direction to achieve a place in the world cup. Maybe 2010 is an understatement. At the pace Singapore is going, 2020 is a good target. Maybe they should host the world cup with Malaysia in 2020, Malaya Boleh! Hmm...If i'm a lawyer and an orphan comes to me to settle who should look after him other than his uncles and aunties, who are cruel towards him and love to abuse him, i will give the child's custody to Singapore National Soccer Team because they beat no one. Now that's justice! Hmm...lately, i've been thinking about writing a book about love life of a guy, fiction or not, its up to you guys to judge. I've made a draft and a skeleton of the story and it should be made availabe in book stores island wide by year 2010 or so. I'm about to finish the first chapter. I'm not sure whether this book would ever be published but not to dampen my spirit of writing and sharing experience, i'm willing to write for passion sake. I'll keep on writing no matter what! People, especially the government, can censor me but they will not prevent me from blabbering what i want to say. I've been talking to Maly recently about how to study smart and hard and she gave me a few good pointers. Will it work? Those pointers sound convincing and promising but like she said, it all boils down to me. Whether i make it depends on me. Then we talked about motivation and she asked me what is my motivation. I,amiably and jokingly, told her it is Thong Pei Qin,TPQ. Believe it or not, i cant forget about her. She's now in Canada persuing her dream there at one of the prestigious university. Memories of her are still vividly fresh in my mind. Well, you can say that i'm infatuating but who cares. At least she knows i exist. When she comes back, i hope to get to know her better. Well, this may not be my forte but i'll try my best. She is still my motivation. Whatever for? It is hard for me to explain right here but if you guys insist on knowing it, buy my book then in 2010. Story of how i met her is the best past of the book. A romantic yet interesting book i guess. Oh by the way, the title of the book is The Quest. Recently, i've been searcing high and low for a good spot to mug for the remaining 4 months. Any suggestions? I welcome any suggestion as long as it is near to my house in bukit panjang and near to my college in Jurong. I want to mug some where with good and splendid scenary, nice ambience and condusive environment enough for me to mug away from the hustle bustle of geeks, gooks, nerds, has-beens, crooks and etc. Haha. Gosh, i feel like vomiting right now. Gosh, i met my old friends couple of days back. I met Felicia, the fraternity of The JJC Malaygangstars, Nicholas, Wan and Wee Teng. I met Wee Teng at the LRT station in CCK. She's sizzling hot! She dressed like a rocker and she really rocks. Haha. She in poly now. All the best to her and all my other friends. Gosh, i really want to go to SMU. That's my dream uni. I have to get there by hook, crook or by both hook and crook. Haha. Seriously, i really want to go there. I will be there and i'm going there. Okay, i think i've said enough i'm sure i'm boring you readers. All the best to me! God-willing!
